Check up
The last few months, I have been increasingly fatigued. So much so, that I even go for quick naps in my car on my lunchbreak. I get mad dizzy spells, and am constantly thirsty. I can easily drink 3 liters of water a day and still want more!
Some of you may already be having the same idea as I am: Diabetes. They are the classic signs and add to the mix that I am one obese Mamma....
So, considering that I have to take extra special care now, I am going to see my Doctor today. Have him confirm the pregnancy (As if the two pink lines would lie, but it's mandatory that a doctor confirms it) and let him draw some blood.
Here's hoping it's not, but if it is, I'd rather just know. There are loads of people that have to cope with much, much worse!
Wish me luck.

I'll be thinking of you and hoping for the best. I had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy and started having high blood sugar problems early on this time. Plus, I never lost the weight I gained. My family has a strong history of diabetes so I was warned that this time it might stick even after I have the baby.
You'd be suprised that a diabetic diet really isn't the horror that it used to be. Sure you have to watch what you eat very closely and make sure you balance fats, protein, carbs etc, but it doesn't mean you have to cut out sweets completely. Yes you have to limit them and only can eat them at certain times of the day (balancing them with meals instead of just on their own). These are things that are probably good for any pregnant woman. (whether we like it or not)
So, even if the news you get isn't good, keep your chin up! Good luck at your appointment!
