Little Update

This pregnancy is the exact opposite of my first one. With Munchkin, I did not get morning sickness. My skin stopped all it's pesky extreme dry-ness issues and I was really LOVING pregnancy. Now, I have to do deep breathing excercises whilst typing, lest I have to dash for the toilet. My skin feels like it's being slowly teared apart and I can't wait for the pregnancy to be over already and for me to hold my happy, healthy baby in my arms.
I am SO tired all day long that I have requested an extra week holiday because the idea of going back to the office makes me want to weep. Had I mentioned my hyper-emotional state?
I have had to psych myself up to write this entry, what I really want to be doing is lie down on the sofa and kindly request the room to stop spinning already!
The Glucose thing was borderline they said, 6. something. My cholesterol was waaaaaay low. I have to go in for a chat with her though, as this extreme reaction to sugar thing is freaking me the heck out!

Thanks a million for checking in folks, the concern is much appreciated!

I will try and drop by on your respective blogs, as I am dying to read what you all are up to. Just bear with me, the first trimester can't last forever!

Love and light and wishing your wonderful holidays!

Sorry to hear that you are feeling so icky. :( I had 9 months of morning sickness with my daughter (but not with my sons, go figure!) so I really feel for you. Though in all fairness, after the first trimester the worst of the morning sickness eased.

What a bummer on the borderline result. I'm know you'd suspected something might be up but it doesn't make it any easier, I know. Watching you diet is going to take some extra effort but it really will be worth it. You'll be amazed at how much better you feel. For some good ideas and inspiration you should see if your doctor will let you talk to a nutritionist/dietician. Chances are that your blood sugar problems will worsen with pregnancy (though it's not an absolute by any means!) so it would be better to start earlier rather than later. It's still hard, I know. I wish you didn't have to go through this.

Take care and all the best!!!

Oh, hang in there! I hope you get to feeling better during this pregnancy soon.

By the way, you have a letter on it's way to you...FINALLY!

A Christmas card will also be coming to you but it's going to be way late. I'm waiting for our family pictures to come back.

In case you didn't see the reply in my comments section when I found out you were preggers: CONGRATS SWEETIE! I'm so thrilled for you, and for that child, because what a blessing to come into this World with a mother such as yourself and such a wonderful family. I'm so excited for you, I know how badly you were wanting this.

Can you do gingerale for naseau? Is that safe? I'm not sure, but I know it helped me when I had naseua and vertigo.

I'm sending you hugs and major Feel Better vibes! Much love my friend, and many, many Blessings for the New Year.

I just posted about how I am feeling today and yesterday. I am also behind on reading blogs. Hope you are doing well.

Aw Sabine, thanks so much! That really touched me!

Kilikina, I will try and drop by yours!

The laptop at home, was taken down for the Munchkin's birthday and we have not gotten 'round to putting it back again. So today (in work now) is the first time I am back on the 'Net since Christmas.

Will do my best to get it back up and running soon. Although, still don't feel much better morning/noon and night sickness-wise. Plus, the growing baby is giving me some rather unpleasant TOM-Like cramps. This is a good sign though, so can't complain!

Love and light!

Oh, I'm so sorry that you're so sick! I hope that once you get through this first part you'll be feeling OK. Take care of yourself.
